Blue Krill began servicing clients in April 2005 as Scratch Design Studio. The mission was to work towards providing organizations & individuals with an opportunity to employ the written word as a tool towards improving their brand image. In an industry overrun by freelancers, it was quite a tedious task to gain a foothold against rock-bottom pricing and assembly line output.

We had modest beginnings to say the least, with our emphasis only on quality of the output, rather than quantity. Over time, our endeavours paid off as clients began understanding the true value of our work when compared to the lower quality work produced by the millions of freelancers across the globe.

Our obsessive desire for quality meant that to serve our clients, we hired team members with significant experience in the required field. Till date, the emphasis of our work remains on Quality. That is why we provide each client with a dedicated researcher, writer, proof reader and an editor to ensure that our standards of quality remain above the average freelancer.

Although Scratch Design Studio was convinced about staying true to its original mission, we soon realized the absolute need to add Design to our service offerings to provide our clients with comprehensive branding solutions under the same roof. Merging with a design firm to bolster our service offering in 2009, Scratch Design Studio came out at the other end of the deal with a new name – Blue Krill.
